You can permanently delete your Closet account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — In the app (instant)
- Open Closet and sign in.
- Go to Profile → ⚙️ Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are permanently deleted right away.
Option 2 — By request
If you can't access the app, email closetprayerapp@gmail.com from the email address on your account (or include it in the message), with the subject "Delete my account." We will verify and permanently delete your account and data within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes all of your data, including:
- Your account, profile, display name, and username
- Prayer history, streaks, and statistics
- Journal reflections and any voice notes
- Friends, followers, and shared streaks
- Challenge progress, achievements, and rewards
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Your private reflections and voice notes are stored on your device and are removed when you delete the app or your account.
Data retention
We do not retain your personal data after deletion, except where required by law. Routine backups are purged on a rolling basis. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
